Established in South Australia in the 1980s, L'Abruzzese started off making Heim’s fine egg noodles, which we still make today, along with our best selling egg pastas like Fettuccine and Spaghetti made with durum wheat semolina and farm fresh eggs.
Fast forward 30 years and we are still family owned.
We have moved with the times introducing new flours and flavours suited to a gluten and health conscious society who wants to balance their diet with more whole grain flours and exotic flavours like saffron, squid ink and porcini mushrooms. Our range has now expanded to more than 150 different types of pasta including those made with Organic Wholemeal, Spelt, Rye, Khorasan, Lentil and Maize, and Besan And Buckwheat.
